Towcester Town Hall

The Town Hall is a lovely Victorian building

I recommend The Dolphin cafe, across the road from the Town Hall, which has a well-used Bookcrossing shelf. Costa Coffee was practically empty whereas this cosy independent cafe was full.

There are a number of independent shops in the main street including a super sweet shop called Humbugs. Try the rhubarg and custard sweets made by an 80 year old confectioner based in near-by Thrapston.
