You can haz trumpet

One of my abiding memories of watching Blackadder as a teenager was the line "you could've at least have told us you had a trumpet".

I won't bore the uninitiated with the full story, but that phrase has served a reminder to me that each of us has a unique set of skills, attributes and abilities that form a core of who we are.

At 8:30 tonight, I had the privilege of chatting with a young guy about life. Hearing about his interests. About his passion. Hopefully I was able to help him explore that a bit further.

As wise as it is to avoid blowing our trumpet all the time, we should have some idea what tunes it can play.
