A Dog's Dinner

By G

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.'

Well that's it.

Secret things have been done.
Secret visits are over.
Presents are wrapped.
Mince pies are being eaten.

We popped over to see Bella et al this afternoon and had a lovely hour or so reading stories and eating mince pies then back home for a posh nosh - Lobster Thermidor.

Due to the weather The Memsahib can't manage to get up, so BB and I are having our very first Christmas by ourselves. It's a bit strange after thirty seven years.
