Grand Princess
On the basis that today's sunrise will be repeated here is the Grand Princess - the largest cruise liner, by tonnage, to have visited Lerwick. It was too big even for the inner harbour so the poor passengers had about a 15 minute journey on the tender to get ashore.
Up to 2000 on board and they seemed all to be in street at the same time at one point. I must have been in around 20 photos at least as I walked the short distance for my newspaper. At least the weather stayed reasonable for them all day and hopefully they spent some cash.
Probably best seen in large
