Woodland find

I nearly trod on this tiny red mushroom, thought to be a Vermilion Waxcap, while going for a leak this evening in woodland near Sutton Bank, in North Yorkshire.

My late Uncle, Dennis Harle, was an artist, conservationist and ornithologist and and had a huge passion for mushrooms and fungi. I was thinking of him when taking this photo.
