Virgin in the Mist

Living fairly close to their Castle Fraser launch site, it's not unusual for us to see a Virgin hot air balloon hanging in the early morning air as we drive to work.

I came across this one yesterday in a field just as I was passing the village of Sauchen. A woman passing on a bicycle saw me taking this photograph and stopped for a chat. She said these dawn flights were part of a deal offered by Virgin that includes a champagne breakfast. She thought this particular flight must have put down early because of the poor visibility due to the early morning mist.
