Storm Coming

Last night I experienced a pain like no other, when I went to blow my nose I thought my right eye ball was about to come shooting out of the socket and the pressure on my head above the socket was excruciating. Being a typical bloke (and just to check it did happen as I thought) I tried blowing my nose again - Yes that's where it came from.

Woke this morning with the familiar pain and feeling delicate. It's me and Bob for the majority of the week as FW is in at Uni so I decided to get the bus uptown to return my kilt rather than drive as I thought my road rage today could be rather intense. She already knows a few swear words and didn't think today was the day to introduce her to some more.

After returning the kilt Bob decide she wanted to spend some of her hard saved pocket money, 25 minutes in Claires Accessories to buy a pair of fingerless dance style leather gloves followed by an hour in Primark for 3 items. Although I was getting fed up near the end of it I really enjoyed watching Bob choose her own stuff and decide what she wanted. Normally you tell Bob her size and it's picked and then taken home. However, today everything needed to be tried on first. I could tell she felt like a big girl and this is another one of those growing up steps she needed to take.

In saying this I let go off her hand a few times whilst up the high street to allow her to browse or walk on her own but her hand always came back to mine. A small thing I know but it felt nice and it was a great feeling to know you little girls still wants to hold your hand.

On the way home I made a silly comment and Bob just looked at me and said "That'll be the tumour". I couldn't believe it my wee girl has my sick sense of humour, I am so proud.

On returning home I noticed that Bob's Pirate Flag was smiling at us and the clouds behind it looked rather menacing. My plan for the rest of the week is to post some Life Turns pictures.
