Sunset over Morven

Had to dig out an older camera today as my usual has gone wonky - and thence back to Nikon for repair (monitor failure). It could be away 3-4 weeks! I tried to appeal to the very-nice-chap-in-Jessops' better nature and explained about Blip and how it's become a lifeline for me, but I'm afraid he looked a bit blank and said he thought he'd read about it somewhere!

Anyway fortunately himself keeps my little old Nikon in his car for work. It's not been used for ages so the battery was dead. I felt like a headless chicken for a few hours round Aberdeen without an operable camera and couldn't wait to get home to put it on charge. Then couldn't find the charger. I turned the house upside down looking for it whilst Dylan sat glaring at me from the front door awaiting his walk! Dear me, I had to go a walk without a camera - still better that than without a dog!

Thankfully later found charger, got the thing charged up, then had to try & remember how to use it. Its simplicity fooled me! It's a dear wee thing and fits my hand in pocket so easily and I'd forgotten how much I liked it. It doesn't have a viewfinder though and being totally dependent upon monitor is frustrating when trying to do macros in full sun.

After a couple of hours now firing on all cylinders again and later took a stroll up the track to see the sunset. So here it is!

(Sorry for long-winded blether, just wanted to explain why it will be a different camera for a few weeks.)
