Day 3: Hello Madrid

I guess this was our first full day of proper sight-seeing in Europe. I was so impressed by Madrid's architecture, parks and food options - we found a great hidden place to eat thanks to Lonely Planet.

I should say early in this set of backblips, we love lonely planet. These guides are incredibly helpful. Our version was 'Europe On A Shoestring,' which was perfect. We found many a cheap, unique place to eat thanks to that book. Well worth buying.
