Day 1: Ferry

Day one of our Europe trip. We caught a ferry from Portsmouth to Santander, due to volcano related flight problems... Turned out to be a nice way of travelling though. Yes it's slower than flying, but we had fun. Most of the journey was taken up by wishing we had a bottle opener, discussing how best to use our remaining 18 British pounds, playing cards in the bar and admiring the epic views.
