Party!

Karin and I threw a party tonight. What a blast. It was really more Karin's party than mine, I suppose, as all the invitees were her people. But many of them have become my people now too, so I kind of feel at home with most of them. I feel at home with all of them even more now that we have had so much fun together.

The original plan was to have a proper "dance" party. But the organizing of that was getting out of hand and neither of us had the energy to pull it all together. So instead, we copped out and just invited friends ... and "suggested" if any of them might be interested in bringing their instruments with them ... ;)

Well, the house was hopping! I have a couple of other images showing even more people and singing and dancing and just general merry making. Picking one image was hard. But this one seems to show a sense of the evening. There was great diversity in the styles of music, the ages of the musicians, the mix of who was playing at any one time, etc.

I think we'll do it again!
