Red Rock Canyon Near Las Vegas, Nevada

We are on holiday for a week in the south west part of the US. We spent our first day at Red Rock Canyon about 30 miles from Las Vegas. Had a great time doing some light hiking and looking at the fantastic landscape. I

While we were there, a lady fell from one of the cliffs and got her leg lodged between two rocks. The park service had to call in a helicopter to get her out. Her mates said that she broke her leg. Hope it was nothing more than that.

Off to Zion National Park in south west Utah.
