Red Tree in the Park

I noticed this bright red tree in Parramatta Park this morning. I should know what variety it is but even though I Google to find out I had no luck. I'm sure someone will know. For a closer look. If you look closely you will see Jacarandas in the background. :)

My wife to the rescue; she believes it is a Brachychiton acerifolius - Illawarra Flame Tree

The weather today was a bit like Melbourne (four seasons in one day); it started out with rain, then sun and now it is blowing a gale from the west. All we need is a cold snap.
