Rivers of blood

On a very wet day in London, I walked by the ever growing poppy field in the Tower of London. It was very touching to see photos of old soldiers who had lost their lives, pinned to the railings and heartening to see so many visitors and families there, even on such a wet day.
I was on my way to a wine and food tasting for our annual Alumni Dinner next year to be held near Tower Bridge. The day was finished off by an evening lecture back at Guy's.
