Tall dark handsome (dubious) stranger

Lincoln Cathedral is so well lit in the evening that it effectively glows like a beacon, visible on it's perch from tens of miles away. This chap though, sits in the grounds in shadow all evening. Perhaps he's looking at the time -

'must be beer'o'clock.'
