Paddling

This seagull was enjoying the gentle lapping waves this morning along southend seafront. Was a different story on our way back as the tide had come in and the waves were crashing against and over the path! I admired the brave souls walking to the end of the pier as it's been a very blustery day! it has suddenly gone very dark too so the storm clouds are approaching! Can we have Summer back now??!
