Rain

After all the beautiful weather we had in September it was on the cards that rain might follow, and it did this afternoon, in bucket loads. Luckily, T got the lawns mown(ed?!) early. It's my day off ..... yes, I know I've just had the long weekend off but Wednesdays are my usual day off and I've taken it. Much needed too to catch up with a little bit of cleaning(!) lots of laundry, lots of cooking to put in the freezer but just when I was about to go out to The Farm to have a walk and get a blip maybe, the heavens opened -
the gardens loved it though, I'm sure.

Mr T not so impressed as he was on the flying field and only an occasional light shower was forecast .... he's now arrived home and looks like a drowned rat!
