Family

Arrived in the Netherlands today. Our principle reason to be here is visit Karin's family in Meerssen, near Maastricht. They are an unusual family, related on her dad's side of the family (which *might* explain a lot ;)) They, like all of her family, are wonderful and lovely and warm and so perfect.

And just a little weird ;)

We arrived by train from France. The trip took us through Luxembourg and Belgium. The trip was uneventful except a small incident with a drunk or drugged out beggar on the train. I was a little surprised the conductor did not put him off at the first stop. But he was essentially harmless.

Liege still strikes me as a most amazing train station. I wanted to post another picture of this train station, but family wins out ;)
