Stripes

Back to one of my favourite insects today. The Hover fly or the Syrphid fly to give it its proper name. They are a real sight of summer and I always like to see them. However before I started doing blip I wasn't even aware of their existence and probably just assumed they were wasps of some sort.

It looks great when looked at large.
