Ladybug Jail

I found this ladybug circling the flower fence. It walked around and around, then it started in the other direction and walked around and around again. That's a long way for those little legs. I wonder what it was looking for.

After taking some pictures and watching it some more, I moved it to a rose bush. I imagine it will find more yummy snacks on the rose than on the metal fence.
