They were Jumping on the Bed

Another day packed full of Sun and games and water.

In the morning Granny just couldn't help herself pretending to be the teacher and have the children line up and take lessons. Granny had found a cardboard roll and was showing 2 children how they could use it as a pointer and see if everyone could answer the questions, for example pointing to a cow on the wall... ask Esme what did the cow say......Mooo----- that was correct. Cian answered a lot of questions correctly but he thought he would be deliberately naughty and made mistakes. Granny had to administer a pat on the bottom with her pointer. Oh no, he found this hilarious and we had to do lots of mistakes until there was practically a riot. I'll have to find another cardboard roll as somehow the pointer went missing!!!

Lunchtime was a bit of a problem. There was not much of an appetite for the lovely, slightly spicy burgers and potatoes that maybe Daddy made so Granny and Grandad ate them all and granny made scrambled egg for the kiddy winks. Then we all went out in to the garden and Grandad cut the grass and Cian charged round with a truck. Several toys had to be taken out doors and fought over. It was a lovely day. Granny watered the plants and Cian begged me to soak him with water. Well I was dying to do it but didn't know what Mummy would say as she doesn't usually have time for this sort of stuff when she gets home tired from work. She did have a lovely new pair of dark pink shoes for Esme who looked like Dorothy out of the wizard of Oz when she had them on. Well lo and behold we did get Mummy's permission to give Cian and Esme a right old soaking. Esme didn't like the very cold water even on her little toe but his nibs was running wild getting soaked to the skin and laughing his head off. The water would have been cold but the day was hot. We just didn't know how he could stand it. Anyway they both soon had towels around themselves and were indoors getting their PJ's on.

Bye bye Cian and Esme. Its been a fun day ( we are shattered though) See you soon.

Back home at the ranch I made a quick dinner of leftovers and we watched the news. I watered our garden and did a few bits and pieces outside and its late again so straight off to the scratcher (an army expression, i believe)

Night night....if you ever get this far in reading
