Tour de France - Ripon Style

We had a trip out this afternoon to York and on the way there and back were plenty of road signs - CLOSED 5th & 6th July - Tour de france.

And everywhere you went Yellow Painted Cycles pathed the way on route. We called into Ripon (North Yorkshire) and arrived 8:50pm and I took a few snaps and then we had a history lesson at 9pm by the Local Hornblower. It was worth pulling into Ripon to watch unboken tradition take place.

All in all - a great relaxing day :))
