Carrot crop

We are starting to harvest our little carrot crop. When I sowed the seeds they were quite close together, so I'm thinning them out by pulling a few.

These little carrots make up for their lack of size with their delicious sweet flavour.

The kids love them.

Feels a bit special eating something I've grown from scratch.
