Elf Adventures in Norway Day 15

We parked up in a nice little wild spot near the coast last night. Two other vans were there to keep us company and enjoy the view.

I took the Elf Van off the levelling blocks this morning when S was in the bathroom. He came out, stared at me and said "You moved the van when the Captain was not on board?!" Once he got over this trauma we set off towards Mandal, stopping only for fuel and ice lollies and banana milk.

We arrived at the campsite in the afternoon and decided to put a washing on. I chose the 20 minute fast cycle, but soon realised that I had the machine for 2 hours. So, I stupidly decided to get my money's worth and did lots of other washing.

Then the realisation that I didn't have any means of drying all of the washing set in. Being quick thinkers we decided to set up the Elf Van as a mini tumble dryer, cranking up the electric heater and hanging clothes from every available hook, handle and surface. The place was like a sauna, and pretty difficult to move around in, but we finally had lots of clean pants for our last day in norway!

Hmm. I've just realised that 8 pairs of pants have lasted me 15 days.

That's not pretty is it.
