Plan 9 from Outer Space

I finally got to watch my Edward D Wood Jr. DVDs how they propably work best - with friends. My friends have a video projector and good speakers which create a bit of small movie theater atmosphere in a dark room.

We started with the comedy-drama biopic Ed Wood (1994), directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as Ed.

After that we watched the tree films that the biopic tells of:

Glen of Glenda (1953),

Bride of the Monster (1955) and

Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959).


Ed Wood is often referred to as the worst film director of all time, but I think his films are far too entertaining for that, even if the entertainment value is mostly unintentional.
