Cottage Opening

This is the weekend we help Jim open his cottage for the season. It's the May Two Four weekend here. It's kind of fun that a "Two Four" in Canada is a common designation for a case of 24 beers and this being the first warm(ish) long weekend of the year, you can imagine this coincidence has not gone unnoticed amongst the youth of our society ;) ;).

It's also the weekend we celebrate the birthday of a long dead Queen of England - no wonder we think of the aforesaid coincidence! :D

Anyway, here we are, this is Jim, Peter and me (those of poorer english skills would likely have said "I", but me jus cant use I wear me suposed be used. :P) anyway - here we are trying to get one of his docks into the water without any of us being harmed in the process. Normally we'd have an extra pair of hands on deck (sorry) to help with this. And there was the pressure of unpredictable skies. But in the end, we were successful and only Jim got wet.

I am often accused of simply standing around taking pictures of everyone else doing the work. But here is proof that I can at least bend down and hold a chain. :D
