Thursday's castle....
.... sits, imperious on a hill overlooking the River Ness. (Inverness: mouth of the Ness; the rock the home of several previous castles.) Tourists see this sandstone marvel and make the journey up the hill. They must feel puzzled when they get there; district and sherrif courts, jail vans, backward boys, discarded bottles of Buckfast, and a small plaque on the wall, It's not really a castle at all, it's a Victorian fake - ya-hoo, we saw you coming! In my opinion we should have an all singing, all dancing thing called 'The Highland Experience there, but that is only my opinion.
