Limit of Navigation

The River Bure is the principal river of the Northern Norfolk Broads and this is the river at Horstead which is as far upstream as you can go with your boat*. To the right (off camera) is the site of a mill which was a source of revenue for the waterway in years gone by but which burnt down in the 1960s.
