They Call Me Mellow Yellow

I found this lovely flowering yellow bush in a local park. I thought at first it might be forsythia, but when I Googled it, the flower shapes and petals are completely different, so I've no idea what this is... anyone out there in Blipland know?

Turns out it is Kerria a member of the Japonica family.
