My wedding dress

I took out my wedding dress while sorting through the closet the other day and was immediately transported back to the months leading up to our wedding, nearly 15 years ago. I was just out of school and on a very slim wedding budget and discovered a local woman who designed and made wedding gowns for a fraction of the cost of a designer gown...my dream gown was $10K, which exceeded my entire wedding budget, of course. Altogether I paid around $600 for the fabrics (ivory dupioni silk with lace overlay on the back of the skirt) and her expertise.

I know you can't see the whole dress here but maybe someday I can take a better photo, once I figure out how!. Of course, I think I like it even better with Phee playing around in it. Thanks to Sunnyclouds for the idea of photographing daughters in their mother's wedding gowns. Super sweet.
