HARD TREEPILE

These trees were cut down about 8 months ago but they've been forgotten about and I doubt now if they'll ever reach the sawmill. What a waste of timber.
It just lies here in the changing seasons just rotting away.
I notice that one of the foresters has sprayed the word "HARD" on the end of one of the tree trunks. I wonder why seeing as they are all softwoods (pines and larches)?
