Nonchalant...

...something Smee can pull of rather well when it suits!

Once again, my Bobba has proved that I am well and truly blessed to have her in my life! After a twelve hour shift she has not only been to the shops, but now intends on cooking too! And what have I been up to which makes me deserving of such treatment?

Good question!

An easy day at the mobile office (<-- I'm quite proud of that picture), a quick lunch in the canteen and a single lesson to finish off, I've came home and slept...lots!

A notice in the depot has grabbed my attention, so tomorrow I shall be writing up a cover letter and printing off a fresh CV ready to give to my Ops Manager on Saturday morning...or the Traffic Office at least, since managers rarely work weekends these days! Though who can blame them really?

The role? Model Driver; or Buddy Driver, or Mentor Driver, or Route Trainer Driver...etc. Put simply, helping the new drivers with how to drive service routes so they're ready to go it solo! I've seen five new drivers do this, four of them on my Glorious 37 Service, all of them still employed...surely that's a good footing for my application?!
