Namesake

Following my recent declaration of undying love for the work of John Irving, I felt inspired to pick up A Prayer For Owen Meany again.

With the exception of children's books, which it now read to my daughter I make it a point never to re-read a book, but I'm so glad I made an exception in this case as I think I may be enjoying it even more second time around!

This was the book that inspired the naming of my own son.

No, we didn't call him "Meanie" you wags!
