Dowlais Wind Turbine

Up, and having visited the Aged Ps for Sunday lunch, I returned via the Heads of the Valleys road. Snow on the ground; a biting wind chilling the marrow and this new wind-turbine behind Asda, close to the road to that fabled place Fochriw.

The blades weren't turning , despite the windy conditions. The lady in the petrol station told me it was being commissioned and would start generating power in February.
