Time Stood Still
The weather forecast the night before predicted cold weather and fog early in the morning. So up I got, nice and early that morning armed with tripod and gloves. Much to my disappointment when I woke up, it was fairly mild, and no sign of any fog!! Not put off, I went out hunting for more detail type shots rather than the perfectly lit sunrise type scene. I stumbled across this branch wedged in the waterfall which got my interest. The fairly flat natural light was perfect to allow me to use a slow shutter speed to enhance the movement of the waterfall. It just goes to show that it doesn't always have to be the perfect light to capture natures beauty.
