The Big Switch

I have used Aperture on my Mac for photo management for several years but it has not been updated since 2011 and its capabilities are increasingly limited. I have delayed doing anything in the hope that Apple would bring out a new version of Aperture but I suspect they have given up on serious photo management and left this to Adobe.

So, as Adobe had a special offer this week, I have bitten the bullet and installed Lightroom. Lots of learning but it is already obvious that the range of editing options is so much better than with Aperture.
