Dusk

The local council reacted surprisingly quickly to my complaint. They called this afternoon and turned up at my door at 1630. It wasn't yet dark... they wanted to see how the light impacted on me at home (light nuisance) They've deemed the (light pollution) to be outside of their realm of influence. They did however agree that it was abysmal and have decided to 'have a quiet word'. We'll see what happens.

Apparently there are 8,000 cars stored on the old runways built for Wellington Bombers. The company have applied for permission to increase that to 12,000 which has the neighboring village up in arms - as the related traffic impacts heavily on them.

The HS2 train will go right through the middle!

In the image, my village is to the right hand side as you look at it. The very bright lights just to the left of center are where the cars are stored. To give an idea of just how bright they are, the entire town of Banbury 8 miles distant is has all its lights on and is just visible above the very bright lights.
