Stovies

I finally decided to replace my 8-year old mobile phone with the latest iPhone, which arrived yesterday. After a lazy start to the day (which was dull and grey, rather different to two years ago when I started blipping), I played around with the camera on the phone and am very impressed by the quality of the images.

Stovies are a Scottish dish of potatoes and left-over meat - a bit like hotpot from the north of England. Traditionally served with beetroot, they were a tasty and filling New Year's Day lunch.
