Flame tree

Traffic lights in Australia, take a very long time to change. Fortunately, I was right next to this flame tree in the traffic queue this morning. It has pod-like fruits that hang down and against the overcast sky, the red flowers make a splendid contrast to all the other green trees at Christmas.
