Garden harvest

I've been feeling like a gardening failure this year, my first year to try my own garden, and until now, my only success was my peas, which ripened while I was in Jordan and were eaten exclusively by Eric.

I actually kind of forgot that I still had some carrots to harvest, but when Scott came over for lunch today, I remembered and decided to see how they were doing. Not bad, I think! I made some delicious carrot ginger soup and had a great time catching up with Scott before he heads back to the states.
