Hungry Bird

We have 4 to 8 inches of snow plus ice (am I sounding like a broken record?) in the forecast for tomorrow, so today I filled my bird feeder and hung out some suet. In just a few minutes I had my first visitor, this rather handsome woodpecker.

The cats have taken up birdwatching!
