The Aftermath

We drove through the fire devastated areas of Mt Victoria this afternoon. This is Berghofer Drive between St Georges Parade (where 7 houses were lost) and Mt York Road.
Green shoots are already starting to appear and the bush will soon recover, but it will sadly take longer for people who lost their homes.
