Unseasonal flowering!

Doesn't this Scabious realise that it will soon be Christmas! A number of summer-flowering plants in the garden have suddenly decided to have a final go for this year. It shows just how mild the weather is...as well as being wet. This Scabious was a great find. It flowered profusely through the summer and attracted lots of invertebrates. Like the plant, I'm really not sure I'm ready for winter.
