Castle Street

After work today I did make it into town to take some evening street photos. It was raining on and off, and the roads were wet with great reflections. I thought I would try a slightly different approach this evening, and aim for faster shutter speeds to catch people in the frame - they simply disappear in long exposures. This ended up being my favourite shot, looking along Castle Street towards the cathedral. The Saffron Cafe used to be one of my favourite spots for a hearty breakfast after a night shift in my junior doctor days - feels like a long time ago now.
