Grace Jones-The Apple Stretching (1982)
Not about apples at all, but rather New York, The Apple Stretching was written by Melvin Van Peebles for his 1982 play Waltz of the Stork. This is the album version but there is also a 12" version, 8:40 long, that includes an extra second verse, where Grace sings together with just a bass guitar and percussion.
