Another long shift in Herne Bay today, and the weather is very cold and wet. When I finished I drove to the Western Esplanade between Herne Bay and Swalecliffe, and took this picture of the Hampton Pier. A six minute exposure goes very slowly in an icy wind and encroaching gloom, when the warm interior of a nearby car is beckoning, but it was great to be out making photographs again.
