Splash of Colour

I absolutely love watching this wee one when she’s starts to form an idea and then starts on her creation. Watching her bring an idea to life is really rewarding. She knows what she likes, what she wants and more importantly how she wants something to look. She is the first to criticise her work but also takes something away from her failures. Although Bob was unhappy with the end result I’m really proud of her.

This afternoon I also managed to catch up with Legs and drop off the finished product for the secret squirrel mission we started on the 22nd September. Although I’m happy with the finish it’s always a concern that the individual receiving the gift won’t be. Until they receive their gift the concern that they’ll hate the concept will be playing on my mind.

The house has been fairly busy this evening with friends & kids but really enjoyable, some of Bob’s old toys were brought out. Watching the kids play with the figures & animals felt great, reminded me of Bob when she was younger. The Wee Princess also made an appearance and decided she was staying longer when her mum said it was time to leave. The three of us sat down to watch Toy Story 2 and watching her reaction at some points had us all laughing. Full belly laugh at some parts followed by the standing in front of the TV when an exciting bit happened.
