Library of Birmingham

From Gaudi's cathedral in Barcelona to the Library of Birmingham....

Got the train up to Birmingham this morning for an afternoon/evening meeting in the ICC, which is near to the new Library of Birmingham. There's been a lot of controversy about it, including on my Facebook timeline, and some people got trapped in a lift the day it was opened to the public. On whether it is a waste of money and poorly designed/built I cannot comment but I do think it's rather attractive, especially when lit up in my favourite colour.
