ADI Part 3 Test, second attempt...
I got Pre-Set Test Seven today. Phase One being Junctions; Turning Left and Turning Right, Major to Minor, and Phase Two being Pedestrian Crossings and Signals. I know my stuff, although the examiner did throw in a few things which really got me thinking...he made me work today...
But the most nerve-racking part of the test is the end; the ten minutes of waiting whilst the examiner compiles his paperwork and thinks about whether or not you've passed. Oddly, I was not nervous...I already knew the results and exactly why...I had failed...
It was the same thing which got me again today as last time around...remedial action. I was very on the ball in identifying faults and rectifying them, but remedial action is the next step to ensure the pupil's error is not repeated. The final hurdle which has always defeated me...
The debrief began with me saying this to the examiner, who explained my remedial actions had been a weak point throughout; something which I am usually very good with when the Legendary Jeff is at the wheel. Nerves again I reckon...
"However," he continued... "You have passed. Well done." I could have kissed the guy there and then! Not a big fan of hospital food though, so I refrained...besides, there's only one person I can do that too...
So there you are, I am officially a DSA Approved Driving Instructor! All that is left now is to get onto the ADI register, send off for my ADI Badge and prep Lola for the new life ahead!
In other news, I will get back onto the Music Challenge shortly; needless to say I've been a little distracted from it as of late. And yes, that is sliced banana and honey on toast you see; yummy!
Happy F*cking Awesome Days!!!
