Foreplay?

Day with friends, it must be Sunday.

A unexpected surprise this morning when Yorkie appeared for a cake smash shoot. We discussed using my spare room for the shoot and I’d expected the shoot just to be for kids until I noticed that all the offsprings, Yorkie & his wife had matching tops on. It was obvious I’d be taking the pictures which was a really pleasant surprise, especially as Yorkie is one of the best studio portrait photographers I know – a real honour.

It would be fair to say that even with Dexterising the spare room the combination of cake, silly string, cream and party canons was too much and it got everywhere. The shoot was hilarious but I think Yorkie and his wife had most fun as they tried to cover each other in cake, head locks, handful of cake slapped in each other face whilst the kids looked on. The funniest thing about the whole event was realising no-one had a change of clothes and they would all be going home like that.

This afternoon it was off to another shoot with Curly, Mini G and their cousins as part of a secret squirrel mission. All the kids were fantastic, took direction well and seemed to enjoy the shoot. It’s been a while since I last seen Curly & Mini G and was surprised with the stretch in Curly, girls definitely appear to grow up quicker than boys.

In between shoots I also managed a wee visit to Rioja to drop of some images from the weekend and grab a cuppa. Mrs Fr3W even washed my car for me whilst I was there - cheques in the post!
